SPIRALS the s-shaped spirals criss-cross and touch each other emitting colors the process in creating this image began with the criss-crossing of spirals, like the criss-crossing of events and people that we meet in our lives...the criss-crossing reveals places where colors form, each color signifying a "feel" for a situation or person in our lives, some of these repeating, all unique in shape...the end result is a never ending circle of criss--crossing colors that emanate , glow, and vibrate. when you look back on your life, what criss-crossing points stand out...perhaps milestones...special people...moreover, what have you contributed to life for the good of others, making the world a better place...what would you like to contribute...what simple first step could you take today, within the next hours, to move in that direction...

HOURGLASS 4 corner pieces form an octagon filled with an empty hour glass the corner pieces of the image below look disconnected from the central image...and, if you observe closely, other triangular pieces (similar to the corner pieces) make up parts of the central figure...without another image in a time sequence, it's not possible to determine if the corner pieces are moving farther away, or moving toward and connecting with the central image... the empty hour glass suggests possibilities...something that will be filled in time... what are you filling your hour glass of life with? are things--in this day, this year, this life, this world--falling apart or coming together?  do the pieces of your life feel like they are falling apart or coming together--of course, it's probably BOTH!?

GOLD WINDOW gold and silver stars formed with pairs of triangles meet at the window silver and gold remind me of the Christmas season in the spiritual tradition i grew up with (Catholic)...in this image gold and silver stars also remind me of "rewards" in grade school that were affixed to my paper...gold being better than silver...stars can also be the dreams we have...we look through the window of our beliefs at the starts, wondering if it's possible to reach them...the stars of grade school and the spiritual tradition (or lack thereof) condition which dreams we entertain, which we believe are possible...how many of our unique dreams go unfulfilled because of conditioning, because of laziness, because of disbelief... get those stars out of the window frame, move them into the open sky, pick one you want more than all the others...pull the star down from the sky to the earth where you can grab hold of it, wrestle with it, question and examine it, see if you really want it...

KABBALAH snow flake if all white kabbalah interior or crystal space craft with a little imagination, i can see three different things emerging from this image...if i paint the lines white and put them on a black background, a snow flake emerges...if i focus on the interior of the image, i see part of the kabbalah tree of life...and if i imagine traveling, i see a crystal space craft. what do you see? more broadly, when you look at the things that make up your life (yourself, others, objects, places...), for any given object of  your attention, can you "see" more than one thing? for fun, try picking out one thing that stands out to you today, and play in your imagination for a few minutes, see what this might be, could be, let it morph a little, change colors, put in a different context...see what emerges in your imagination...for inspiration, watch and listen to Willy Wonka's song, "Pure Imagination":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIYNk4ARUR8.

WHO KNOWS WHERE? strange angles appear  from a central spiraled shape leading who knows where?   easy to get caught up in the sharp angles of the outer edges of this image...harder to maintain the focus on the inner spiral in the middle of the shape...the outer edges lead nowhere, but where does the inner spiral lead? easy to get caught up in the periphery of our lives...sometimes feeling like we're going nowhere...go to the center of life, inside, into the inner spiral, there is no end to the depth one can explore here...

OVER & OVER starting at the middle over and over again brings forth a flower my notes for creating this mandala read: i had no idea this would emerge until the very end...trusting the process, making sweeping movements with gusto even though i have no idea where it is going...thrilled and joyful to see the flower emerge i wonder if there's an approach to life embedded in this process that created this image? can we go at life with wild abandon, with gusto, dancing with sweeping movements, not really knowing where we're going, and trusting that the process will create something beautiful...maybe it's not a thing we're creating, it is us...we are a beautiful flower! for awhile, go at something you do everyday with gusto, with abandon, without knowing where the movements will lead...see what happens...did something beautiful emerge...perhaps it was the beautiful feeling of__________________(fill in the blank).

CYCLING IMAGES there are many ways to cycle one's images playful practice key cyclying images is part of a healing method called the Bengston method named after William Bengston and his many experiments of healing mice with cancer published in peer review journals (he also heals and has taught others to heal people, but these are anecdotal cases since it would be unethical to put people into randomized clinical controls for healing or not). The cycling part of the method involves listing 20+ personal selfish desires/wishes, providing an image or word for each, and then cycling thorough them, building up speed until they blur together into a feeling...for practice, one can place the images on a film strip, the hand positions of a clock, an old fashioned rolodex, a powerpoint slide presentation, or a spinning paper plate (i've tried all of them). if interested in this healing method, obtain Bengston's set of audio training cd's from Sounds True and try out the method for ...

EYEBALL  spinning circles surround thicker spinning circulars 1 eyeball starring its easy to get "caught up" in the larger spinning circles of life...inside of these larger circles are the thicker spinning circulars of needs, instincts, drives...they may not look bigger but they are thicker than the out spinning circles and the influence the activation and speed of the revolving larger circles...and at the center of it all is our eyeball, our awareness, the witness, the observer, our consciousness, always present. if we begin our day with conscious intent, choosing what's important to engage with for the day, we are operating from the realm of the eyeball, our power of attention to choose our course and destiny, this is the ideal place to begin from... if we are caught up in the ever pressing demands of the day, responding to one thing after another, putting out one fire after another, we are in a realm of reaction and we will feel stressed and eventually burn out... if w...

BIG BALL(S) big balls flying from outer space toward the middle into one ball The bigger balls appear smaller as they move toward the middle, the center of the image...they appear to coalesce into one big ball...OR you could imagine the one big ball in the center exploding out into space, the balls moving apart, flying off on their own journeys. See if you can sense this principle of contraction and expansion in your body right now as you read...do you feel it? Within  each minute our breath expands and contracts the upper respiratory parts of the body...feel it now? ...inhale...feel the expansion...exhale...feel the contraction...i wonder how many other things in our lives have this same pattern, living and dying, awake and asleep, walking and sitting, eating and excreting, body temperature increasing and decreasing, heart pumping, sun rising and falling...there is much to learn here.

FLOWER FACE linked infinities large and small...with circles too face of a flower from a simple flower in nature, the infinity of life as interwoven circles is revealed...i'm amazed at the sexuality of a flower, the male and female parts so much like the human anatomy, especially the enticing beauty of the petals of a flower that invite insects like honey bees to enter and explore, assist with pollination and fertilization, birthing fruit...there is infinite wisdom here. if the season allows in your climate, take some extended time to find a flower in bloom in your area that attracts you...greet the flower in your own way (e.g., silently, with love, or just say "hello")...then BE WITH the flower for awhile...next, with a soft gaze, observe all of the flower in detail...if you have a hand held magnifying glass, explore the intricacies and infinities of the flower...if the flower consents, consider sketching the flower with pencil, colored pencil, pen, or paint, or photogra...
