the color you think

becomes the color you see

so effortlessly


something mesmerizes me when i look at the image below...the squares and triangles join in dynamic ways that bring me into a spiraling feeling...of colors...


the blending of colors provides an opportunity for a simple experiment...think about one of the colors in the image (violet, green, red, or purple), and while holding the color in your mind, softly gaze at the image, what do you see? 

do you not see the color you're thinking about...does the color stand out as the figure against the ground of the other colors...

for fun, switch to thinking about another color and see what happens...

similarly, when we use words, our perceptual filters bring whatever meanings/emotions/experiences connected to that word into sharper focus as a figure against the ground of the rest of our life...

AND, we get to CHOOSE how we want to color our world.

2 CIRCLES from the 2 circles touching and overlapping reality births from the 2 comes the many, from male and female comes new life, from thesis and antithesis comes synthesis...the touching and overlap seems to facilitate new birth(s) at the intersection of the circles, the vortex, the vesica piscis, the mandorla (almond), the portal of new life... consider 2  vital ideas/parts of yourself...meditate on how the parts/ideas overlap, interrelate, connect...open...look/sense the portal of new life emerging...what implications does this have for being and doing?
