HEAD OF THE LINE
the head of the line
keeps moving, curving, snaking
swallowing its tail
different lines (green and purple) are "moving", the purple swallows the green, and the green swallows the other shapes, reminding us of the ancient symbol of the circular snake swallowing its own tail...a sign of infinity...in one sense, this moving and swallowing represents the regenerative, renewing, infinite cycle of life, and in another more restricted sense, the endless moving in our lives represents the busyness, eating our own tails in competing to stay at the "head of the line"...we create our own kind of frenzy in ever faster moving that backlashes onto ourselves in destruction.
what are you so busy about? what makes you move in a kind of frenzy? is part of this busyness counterproductive in that you're moving so fast you make more mistakes? perhaps we need to let go of the idea of being at the "head of the line", being first, being at the top of the heap, and enjoy the process of moving, curving, snaking, for its own sake, knowing that in the end, we will be renewed, regenerated, resurrected.
