ETERNAL LIFE orbs of color bright connected with triangles king's (queen's) sarcophagus reminded of the Egyptian sarcophagus holding the pharoah's body, but this image displays the colors bright like chakras along the front of the body and fanning out to the sides...dead yet in some sense still alive with light, color, energy, and information. we are invited to contemplate our own death, our resting place...the finitude of life in this realm AND the light, color, energy, and information that we carry now and beyond our physical death, the eternal part of us...how might we cultivate the eternal aspects of our being during our present life on earth? perhaps the practices of meditation, prayer, silence, stillness, and contemplation offer clues...

CHRISTMAS EVE gold and silver stars formed with pairs of triangles  meet at the window gold and silver are Christmas colors in the United States during December...stars are often associated with the Christ's birth in the nativity stories of the Christian gospels...triangular pairs that form the six sided stars symbolize the star of David in the Hebrew scriptures...all come together when looking with child-like wonder through the window of our soul. when you look up at the night sky, can you still see stars? if so, do they twinkle? can you find without your heart the child-like faith to "wish upon a star"? why not make a wish this very night, upon your star in the night sky...be bold, courageous, brave, and dare to wish for your heart's desire...may it be so...AMEN!

WATER BEARS Freezing or boiling No need for water or food Water bears survive Water bears (tardigrades) are microscopic organisms that survive (for a limited time) in extreme cold (to 460 degrees fahrenheit) and extreme heat (to 300 degrees fahrenhiet) suspending their metabolism to less that .01 % with water content of 1% of normal, going without water or food for up to 30 years, and then rehydrating, foraging, and reproducing again...they can also withstand cosmic radiation in space with apparently no harmful side effects (all according to wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tardigrade). We could learn a lot from these little creatures...when to withdraw from harmful conditions, how to relax without eating or drinking...not needing to immediately satisfy our hunger or thirst, and being resilient...after experiencing stressful conditions, making a come back and resuming life's activities.

DENDRITES patterned lines of 3 interconnected dendrites universal brain patterned lines of 3 are fractals of nature...readily observable in the human body, trees, plants, elementals...interconnected patterns, dendrites within the nervous system, not just in our cerebral, heart, and gut brains, but in the universal brain...indeed, we are interconnected. meditating on interconnections provides strength, a feeling of being bigger than yourself... comfort, security, solace is herein...one way to concretely feel these interconnections is through relationships with others...meditate on the positive contributions of parents, siblings, relatives (include grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews...), teachers (as far back as you can recall to as far as you went/are in school, and then include teachers outside of school, coaches, religious/spiritual individuals, on-line community members, authors of books, movie characters)...by intentionally recalling these people, you bring them i...

HEAD OF THE LINE the head of the line keeps moving, curving, snaking swallowing its tail different lines (green and purple) are "moving", the purple swallows the green, and the green swallows the other shapes, reminding us of the ancient symbol of the circular snake swallowing its own tail...a sign of infinity...in one sense, this moving and swallowing represents the regenerative, renewing, infinite cycle of life, and in another more restricted sense, the endless moving in our lives represents the busyness, eating our own tails in competing to stay at the "head of the line"...we create our own kind of frenzy in ever faster moving that backlashes onto ourselves in destruction. what are you so busy about? what makes you move in a kind of frenzy? is part of this busyness counterproductive in that you're moving so fast you make more mistakes? perhaps we need to let go of the idea of being at the "head of the line", being first, being at the top of the heap...
