living, breathing SHELL


All things have their beginning with ONE. 

From this single point of origin there are an infinite possibility of forms. In this haiku, lines and curves were added to the single dot, eventually forming what appeared as a living breathing sea shell. I did not intentionally set out to create a sea shell. I just began with a dot and started monkeying around, slowly something began to emerge, but i wasn't sure what, until near the end, it seemed the shape of a real living breathing sea shell. 


Many times in life we go round in circles, chasing our tails like dogs sometimes do. This is okay for a game, for fun, but it's not a meaningful way to be and live in the long run. At some point, we need to evolve, make a move out of our cycle to create a point of origin for something new to develop. Often we don't know where to go from this point, only that we are on the path and travel with an loving intention. If we trust the process, in time, life happens, a pattern will emerge. Then one day, we step back and say, OH, that's a...and we name the journey that we have embodied and created.

2 CIRCLES from the 2 circles touching and overlapping reality births from the 2 comes the many, from male and female comes new life, from thesis and antithesis comes synthesis...the touching and overlap seems to facilitate new birth(s) at the intersection of the circles, the vortex, the vesica piscis, the mandorla (almond), the portal of new life... consider 2  vital ideas/parts of yourself...meditate on how the parts/ideas overlap, interrelate, connect...open...look/sense the portal of new life emerging...what implications does this have for being and doing?
