Haiku Ellipses...Invitation...Response...

DANCING BALL OF LIGHT let us be dancing connected to the great ball love, light, energy for part of my morning prayer, i envision my feet in the sand at the edge of the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, holding hands with my family/tribe...all of us dancing, singing, connected to the great ball of love, light, and energy at sunrise, in a safe space outdoors, connect bare feet to the earth and imagine, with your hands outstretched at both sides, holding hands with those you love...visualize your family/tribe dancing on the great ball of the earth invigorated with sunlight...sing up the sun...feel the love and light in each other and all around.

SPHERES amid the gold spheres a pattern reveals itself support...compassion the gold spheres form a linear trajectory from the lower left of the image below to the upper right, growing in size with each iteration forward in time...the spheres are supported from above and below by other colored spheres...holding a trajectory with compassion who supports your life trajectory with compassion (empathy and action)? who's life trajectory can you support with compassion? focus on one person, and one small act of compassion that takes less than 5 mins. to complete...act within the next hour if you can, for sure within the next 24 hours...how do you feel...how did they feel...perhaps this could be the beginning of a virtuous trajectory...  

JUXTAPOSITION juxtaposition squares, circles, and triangles somehow it all fits all of the parts of our lives are in relation to one another...juxtaposed, in ever changing system states of juxtaposition...of all shapes, sizes, textures, colors, smells...and remarkably, somehow all the parts fit together into this thing called life. what are the most important "parts" of your life...how do they fit in relation to one another..what is your current system state of juxtaposition...if part of your system state is not the way you would like it to be, then choose one small act of 5 mins or less that could nudge you closer to the system state you would like to be in, and complete the act within the next hour.

2B1 the 2 become 1 touch, penetrate, and receive sperm meets egg the basis of continued human life in every generation is a story beginnig with touch...sperm penetrating and egg receiving...a magic spark and new human life begins its evolutionary course/destiny/purpose...this basic process is a metaphor for many things in life, e.g., two ideas meeting and a third new idea is born... practices:  1.give thanks to your biological mother and father for the gift of life that is YOU!  2.take any two ideas and play with putting them together in different ways...does any new creation evolve from the juxtapositions?  

TREEHUMAN rooted in the ground up through the solar plexus divine blossoms grow the tree provides rich symbolic meaning for our humanity as it (and we) reaches down, rooted in mother earth, bringing up the nutrients we need to live and sharing nutrients with nearby plants through the mycelia, and simultaneously reaching up, toward father sky, extending out to all beings branches and leaves with divine blossoms of love. find a tree near the place you live and spend some time in contact with the tree...introduce yourself, and if you feel comfortable, hug the tree or just place an open palm against its trunk, wait, feel, listen...what tree wisdom is there for cultivating your divine blossoms to share with the world?                                        

S O N G Listening 2 the self, others, nature, and God the whole SONG of Life SONG is an acronym in the phrase, "The SONG of Life" which references the longer phrase, "listening to the SONG of life." In the SONG acronym, S stands for SELF, O represents OTHERS (primarily other human beings), N signifies NATURE (the natural world other than humans), and G is GOD/GODDRESS, or more broadly the DIVINE (the highest ideal we can conceive of). These 4 contexts comprise much of the life/energy systems that we live and interact with.  For practice, find a time/place of relative quiet, preferable outside in the natural world, where you can tune/listen to each of the 4 SONG contexts for 1-3 minutes each, perhaps recording something in a journal (a word, phrase, image, idea) for each part of the SONG. Try this at least 3x in one week, and allow for a final meditation to integrate/synthesize everything you noticed/learned...what message(s) are trying to break through for you...wha...

SYMBOLIC CAPTURE searching 4 a sign self, others, nature, divine symbolic capture playing around with symbols to capture the "SONG of Life" sign that includes the contexts of self, others, nature, and the divine...the searching involves many attempts but none that integrate all 4 signs in an obvious and meaningful way...how does one symbolize self? others? nature? divine? and how does one integrate all 4 while retaining the identies of each in a way that would be obvious at a glance? each of us has some awareness of self, others, nature, and the divine (your highest ideal, value, ethic)...how do you symbolize each of these 4 areas of your life...can you connect all 4 together in a meaningful way...can you perform the "symbolic capture"?

MOON GODDESS elements gather round your waxing and waning triple moon Goddess all of the elements, earth, air, fire, and water, are within and outside of us, ever gathering, integrating, relating, in a process of waxing and waning, culminating in the once a month apex of the triple moon Goddess. do you feel in touch with the inner and outer processes of earth, air, fire, and water in your life...can you feel each of them building, waxing, peaking, and then waning in a cyclical fashion...what messages might the elementals have for you...as a practice, follow the moon cycles...contemplate the full moon...where do you feel full in your body-mind-spirit, where do you feel waning, how can you cultivate a merging of peak waxing at the time of the full moon, and a letting go, surrendering to the inevitable waning?

STAR starting at the star intent upon the end points...and... enjoy the process! we all start out as a "star being" from the stars of our mother and father, and all the star ancestors that preceded them....as we develop/evolve/grow we test out, envision, and pursue a variety of squiggly paths, sometimes intent upon "getting to the end"...yes, we need direction and purpose, but let us not loose sight of who we are becoming in the process of traveling the paths. practice...what are the main lines of intent in your life...consider body, mind, and spirit...what is the "end game" for each of these lines of intent...write one sentence on how you can ENJOY the PROCESS of moving toward that end point for each of these areas.

BIRDS  meeting of the 4 at the circle square table 4 bird-like creatures is there a table that you meet up with family and friends, a favorite square or circular shaped place where you can all see each other, eat a meal, talk about your day, your dreams, plans...what can we learn from the 4 birds around the table, each a different color, each focused on the table and each other, each bringing something to the table...can we do the same? call the circle of family and/or friends  together, and meet at a table for a meal that you all prepare and enjoy--include a dish or drink that each person enjoys...ask about their dreams in life and how you can support each other...create a plan to act on these ideas so that you can give wings to each others dreams like a bird in flight.
